Haz-mat Box 1-4 Propane Leak on 1st St

At 1542hrs Dorchester Central dispatched units for the "UNCONTAINED LG SPILL" at 5312 1ST ST in the Cambridge 1-4 Box area. Chief 1 arrived on location with 2 large (100 gallon) propane tanks on side alpha of the trailer and established command. 360 investigation revealed 1 tank with A leak, advised the 1st Engine to use Rt50 for entry and stage at 3rd St. Command requested A tanker task force bringing in units from stations 61 (Linkwood-Salem), 21 (East New Market) and 16 (Secretary) to supply water to this non hydrant area. Crews worked on a plan to mitigate the situation as Tri Gas & Oil had an extended eta. The situation was placed under control at 1713hrs, Command was terminated and all units were placed in service without incident.
