At 1:10AM the Volunteers of Rescue Fire Company Inc. were dispatched for A fire alarm activation at 815 Chesapeake Drive (LWRC International) in Cambridge. Chief 1 arrived on location side alpha of A large commercial building with audible/visual alarms sounding and established command. He gained entry, noted smoke and quickly upgraded the assignment to A commercial building fire. 1st crews arrived advancing into the structure in investigation mode with Chief 16 (Secretary) and noted an extinguished fire with heavy smoke conditions in the structure. Crews set up and performed large area ventilation using fans from multiple units to clear the structure. At 3:13AM with the smoke cleared and the situation under control command was terminated and all units were placed in service without incident. (16 volunteers from RFC responded to this incident) This fire remains under investigation via the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office.
