Around noon your volunteers from Rescue Fire Company were alerted to assist Madison Volunteer Fire Company with a working house fire on Taylors Island road. The first arriving units had fire and smoke showing, the chief on scene upgraded the call to a 2nd alarm.

Chief 1-2, Tower 1-1, Rescue/Engine 1-1, and Engine 1-4 (w/Chief 1) responded with a total of 11 members. Our units assisted with be ventilation and overhaul of the structure.
