Thursday morning volunteers from Rescue Fire Company were alerted for a motor vehicle collision, Chief 1 arrived to find he had a patient trapped in one of the vehicles.

The call was upgraded to a Rescue Box. Rescue/Engine 1-1 responded with a crew of 4; once they arrived the crew stabilized the vehicle and began removing the passenger side doors using cutters and spreaders (jaws of life).

Once extrication was completed the crew assisted EMS with packaging and loading the patient for transport.
