RFC Station 1 was alerted for the Local Rescue Box assignment in the late Sunday morning hours. The incidents was located in the area of Bucktown Road and Route 50. Shortly after dispatch, the call was upgraded to a Rescue Box with Entrapment with multiple reports from members on scene. Chief 1 arrived on location and established command with units arriving on scene shortly after to find a 2 vehicle MVC requiring a “door pop” on one of the vehicles involved. Units and personnel made quick and efficient work in completing the extrication. Patient care on scene was handled by units from DCEMS. Units packed up and cleared with nothing further. Mutual aid was received from Linkwood-Salem (Station 61).
