At 1105hrs (11:05AM) Dorchester Central dispatched Station 1 & 100 units for an MVC (motor vehicle collision) with rollover. Units arrived on location to find A 2 vehicle MVC with one on it's side and confirmed entrapment of 1 patient. Crews assisted PM100 with packaging and loading of one patient for transport to DGH. Rescue 1-1 stabilized the vehicle on it's side using Hurst struts and a tieback system. Crews then went to work using the Hurst tools from Rescue 1-1 & Rescue Engine 1-1 to cut the patient out of the vehicle on it's side. The second patient was packaged and loaded for transport to PRMC via PM500. Crews cleaned up oil & debris from the roadway, assisted with traffic control & blocking then cleared the scene without incident. (Pictures provided via 1st Asst.
