Rescue Box 1-4 "Rt50 @ Whitehall Rd"

At 2358hrs (11:58pm) Dorchester Central dispatched units for A Motor Vehicle Collision with entrapment at Rt50 (West)/Whitehall Rd in the Cambridge 1-4 Box Area. Units arrived on location to find 1 tractor with trailer on it's side and fuel leaking from it's saddle tanks. Initial Command was established by Chief 1-1 (Rescue 1-1) but operation were delayed for safety concerns of power lines that were stretched across the tractor could be secured via Delmarva Power. Haz-mat crews went to work after and pumped off approx. 150 gallons of diesel fuel and placed multiple bags of absorbent before turning the scene over to MSP for investigation.
