Box Alarm 1-9 Vehicle Fire w/ Exposure

At 1609hrs Dorchester Central dispatched units for A vehicle fire with exposures at 1542 TOWN POINT RD in the Cambridge 1-9 Box Area. Chief 1-2 arrived on location with a small front loader on fire approx. 15' from a structure and established command. Units (Engine 1-3) extinguished the fire using 200' of attack line, approx. 350 gallons of water and approx. 2 gallons of class "A" foam. At 1630hrs Command placed the situation under control cancelling all other incoming units and held the box to units (Engine 1-3, Engine 1-2) on location. Command was terminated at 1657hrs and all units were placed in service without incident.
