At 1511hrs Dorchester Central dispatched units for A BRUSH FIRE (BIG) at 6049 CORNERS WHARF RD in the Neck District BOX:31-1 Box Area. First units arrived on location with a large brush fire in the woods next to A residents and the first firefighter established command. Command quickly upgraded to A full Brush Box (Calling in additional units from Cambridge & Church Creek) to assist. The fire was extinguished using water from Tanker 31-1 and Draft (water from the river) using Brush Rescue 31-1. Command placed the situation under control at 1652hrs releasing all mutual aid companies. Command was terminated at approx. 1715hrs placing all first due units in service without incident. |
