At 1746hrs Dorchester Central dispatched units for an MVC at 2 Sunburst Hwy "The Malkus Bridge" in the Cambridge 1-50 Box Area. Rescue Engine 1-1 w/ Chief 1 on board arrived on location to find a 2 vehicle MVC (Motorcycle v/s Car) with the motorcycle on fire. Chief 1 established command and immediately called for MSP Trooper for 1 (Priority 1 Category Alpha) patient. The crew from Rescue Engine 1-1 made quick work extinguishing the fire w/ the assistance of Talbot Rescue Engine 32 to contain runoff. The crew of Engine 1-3 assisted PM101 at the DGH Helo-Pad with Trooper 6 (1 patient to John Hopkins Adult Trauma). At 1846hrs command was terminated (scene turned over to MSP for re-construction) and all units were placed in service without incident.
