At 1337hrs Dorchester Central dispatched units for A BRUSH FIRE (SMALL) at 5708 ROSS NECK RD in the Neck District 31-1 Box Area. Chief 31-1 arrived on location with A Fire in the woods behind A structure and slightly upgraded the box due to limited resources and personnel in the County. Units from multiple Volunteer Fire Departments pulled together to extinguish this fire making multiple trips into Cambridge to bring more water to the fire (Non Hydrant Area). At 1635hrs Command determined that the fire was extinguished enough to clear the mutual aid companies. Command was terminated approx. 60mins later and all first due units were placed in service without incident.
